I wanted to get a small group of girls together when we were all home for Thanksgiving to celebrate one of our best friends who would be having a baby soon. She didn't want it to be a formal shower so I kept it as a casual brunch at a restaurant, but still wanted to make it special and geared towards her interests. She LOVES baking pies (and is amazingly talented at doing so), therefore I went with "A Little Cutie Pie" as a cute and simple theme. Plus, with pie being a Thanksgiving meal staple, it couldn't have been more timely!
The restaurant we chose is a chic wine bar with casual lounge seating, so we utilized a cozy couch area for the gathering. I made a few signs to put on the table, tied some balloons around the area and decorated with the mini pie favors I baked using this apple pie in a jar recipe. These little pies were easy to make and the small mason jars made them easily transportable and cute for displaying. With a custom sticker on the lid and matching ribbon, they were the cherry on top that really tied everything together!
