If you know me, you know I LOVE elephants! They are smart, lucky and loyal creatures, and also make for a great event theme because they're so cute!
This is an easy and simple theme, with plenty of accessible and affordable decorations at your fingertips! It can be modified for a boy or girl, and allows you to incorporate any games, activities and food items you want!
Favors were themed to the "About to Pop" concept - mini bottles of champagne and bags of popcorn were given out when guests left. The bottles had custom tags that read "Pop it when she Pops! Enjoy a toast when Baby (Name) arrives!" and the popcorn bags had custom stickers that said "About to Pop!" I designed all the graphics to include elephants and match the font styles used everywhere else. The two together were adorable, however many people did not actually take the champagne bottles which add up in cost at $4 - $5 each, so I'd recommend sticking with more affordable options and just doing the popcorn, unless you know everyone will take a champagne!
Baby Face Mashup was one of my favorite shower activities to date! I'd seen a few examples of it done with just photos of the mom and dad, but thought it would be funny to include their dog too, which made the results that much better! Don't worry, their baby turned out much cuter than these predictions ;-)

Since we'd done Advice Cards for Melissa's other shower, we decided to go with the "Wishes for Baby" activity at this one! I simply printed the onesies on cardstock, cut them out and hung them on string with clothespins! They also made for great decoration at the party!
