Throwing a winter shower? This "Baby It's Cold Outside" theme lets you use all your existing holiday decorations and stay cozy indoors!
I loved preparing for this theme! We utilized blue, silver and white winter and Christmas decor, so it was easy to find affordable items at the dollar store and Target. Also, if you host this event after Christmas, you can get decorations on a major discount!
For activities, we did Late Night Diapers and Advice for the Mom-to-Be with a photo booth.
Late Night Diapers are a baby shower classic - simply provide newborn diapers and markers, and guests can write funny messages or heartfelt notes on the diapers for the parents to see when they're changing their baby!
The Advice book was a great way to incorporate pictures and notes from guests. Right as people walked in, they were greeted with this table, which had photo booth props, a Polaroid camera, a scrapbook with tape, photo corners and pens, and Advice Cards. People would take a picture with the mom-to-be, then write their message on the card and place the two on a page in the scrapbook using the tape and photo corners. It is a great memorabilia from the shower, and ensures that everyone gets photos together!
Favors were everyone's winter favorite - fuzzy socks with tags that read "thanks snow much!"
